Against all the odds, the fifth place Ed & Sons team put it all together during the playoffs and came out as the 2004 Champions.
While the regular season favorites struggled to get anything going in the playoffs, the underdogs stepped up when they needed to.
The Championship pitted the 3rd place team Inglesby-Givnish against the 5th place Ed & Sons, and as during the season, anything could and did happen.
Congratulations to Manager Bill Burke, his coaches and especially to the players, as they are indeed the 2004 Maple Shade Babe Ruth Champions.
