Jewelry Rule

Posted by Steve Matthews on Jan 05 2000 at 04:00PM PST in 2019
The organization has voted to ban all jewelry during games. Beginning in the 2000 baseball season, players will be required to remove all jewelry (ear rings, necklaces, etc...) prior to participating in a game.

This is a definite safety concern, that is following the lead of High School Sports, which has banned jewelry for a number of years.

Maple Shade Babe Ruth has decided that we would rather error on the side of safety, so players will be reminded before every game and practice that JEWELRY IS NOT ALLOWED.
